Despite embarking on their first-ever continental campaign, Crystal Palace are adapting at a rapid pace. Missing key players like striker Jean-Philippe Mateta and wing-back Daniel Muñoz, the London club departed Dublin with a commanding result that virtually guarantees them a spot in the Conference League qualifying rounds.
A further three points in their upcoming match against Finnish KuPS should be enough to secure straight entry to the last 16, especially following a prior stumble against Strasbourg.
Fringe Players Seize the Moment
This match provided a chance for some of Palace's fringe players to impress. Christantus Uche, making only his second start since arriving on loan from Getafe, opened the account with a clinical goal. Striker Eddie Nketiah contributed a another, finding the net for the second game in match.

The match was as good as over eight minutes from half-time. Yeremy Pino weaved past a series of weak challenges before calmly dispatching a shot past goalkeeper Wessel Speel to extend the lead to 3-0.
Following the break, manager Oliver Glasner took the chance to rest several individuals like Kamada and Wharton. Substitute Romain Esse almost scoring with his first touch, only to see his shot blocked.
The youngster was incredibly unlucky later on, seeing one attempt strike off each posts before being gathered on the line. Uche also blazed a sitter of a chance, showing there is still scope for improvement in his game.
A solitary worry for Palace was a late injury to Justin Devenny, who limped off. This paved the way for 17-year-old forward Benji Casey to earn his first-team debut, rounding off an otherwise perfect night for the traveling side.
